Support Newly Arrived Immigrants

 
Our neighborhood shelters have seen an influx of immigrants who are in need of broad and immediate support. Gowanus Mutual Aid and other organizations are on the ground connecting them with critical immigration, education and food resources. 
 
We are also monitoring immediate needs and, while some supplies can be donated, often we need to purchase supplies. Food is a particularly critical need and we are working with neighbors, restaurants and other organizations to provide hot meals. Our ability to support their generosity, financially or by purchasing food supplies, is central to helping our new neighbors.
