About
Ngā Piki Amokura will build the capacity of Reo powhiri for the rohe o Whanganui.
Our roopu wāhine Māori, ngā uri o Te Awa o Whanganui o Ngā Rauru hoki, will participate in all three wānanga to strengthen their knowledge base, te reo and build confidence.
This kaupapa acknowledges and enhances the mana of wāhine who will carry this taonga for whānau, hapū, iwi and the wider community, thereby reasserting and revitalising the art of karanga in everyday life and our cultural sustainability.
