Hello! We are the participants of the Decentralised Creativity Huddle participating in the Collective Imagination Practice Community.
Hello! We are the participants of the Decentralised Creativity Huddle participating in the Collective Imagination Practice Community.
We are exploring the potential of co-creation in web3 with a range of learning questions including: How might creative organisations operate in a world where most talent is shared vs. "owned"?; Can a loom be a computer for local weaving communities and the woven cloth a token in itself?; How could a DAO be used to support independent publishing and media?; and How can we make writing a force for imagining and realising better futures?
As a group, we are exploring how new technology and ways of connecting are empowering the practice of collective imagination. We are questioning power dynamics, metaphors, and hierarchical systems in how they affect creativity.
To do this, we are learning by doing.
That is, we are a decentralised group co-creating a zine together to experience collaborative making and also to enable us to disseminate our learnings to the community in a tactile and imaginative way.
We are requesting £2,971.40 to pay printing, shipping and design costs for our zine.
