An approach to hosting a democratised ‘school’ inspired by Migrants in Culture Saturday school - how we do provide our communities with the skills and space to be self-sufficient in these dystopian times?
We want to devolve the design and delivery to people in community by providing micro research residencies on key topics. We hope that this enables every day people to step into whatever shape a community researcher might feel like to them, to research adn respond to a prompt or topic. And then host our next saturday school session to deliver their learnings, byt faciltiating an accessible and creative response.
We will eventually have our own version of a seed library for Global Majority communities and allies working toward liberatory futures to feel better equipt to crisis plan, to set up solidarity economies, mutual aid circles, and grow food together.
