Autumn update and upcoming events

Hello!
Thank you to everyone who continues to support In Solidarity's work raising funds for Palestinian families. Our fundraising stalls for our August events raised over £800 – thank you to everyone who showed up to support and buy local-made crafts! Thank you also to those who continue to donate on Open Collective. Whether it's a one off or recurring donation, we hugely appreciate it.
We are currently in the process of sending over £110 to each family. We've split every penny evenly among the families we are trying to support. Truly, these are tangible shows of solidarity.
Upcoming Events: Queer Yoga, Samhain Art Stall, Salsa Night!
Queer Yoga Solidarity Fundraiser

Organised by Queer Yoga Edinburgh, all proceeds and donations from this event will go to In Solidarity funds to keep supporting families in Gaza.

Samhain: Songs of Resistance (Art Stall)
Friday 30th October
We will have a fundraising stall at this brilliant event.

Community Salsa Night
Saturday 14th November
We have a big event planned for next month! We will be hosting a Salsa Night at St James Church Hall in Leith.

The night will start with an hour-long Salsa class taught by an experienced instructor, followed by social dancing where you’ll have the chance to apply what you’ve learned.
We will also hold a raffle at the event, with prizes including bundles of goods we sell at our fundraising stalls. But that’s not all: We will also have soft drinks and snacks by donation (to fuel you up for more dancing!).
Net proceeds will go to our open collective, as always, and will be split equally among all the Palestinian families we are supporting.
