Introduction to 3D Printing
Did you receive a 3D printer for Christmas? Need help getting started? Join John Barbrook at the Lancaster Makerspace for a beginner-friendly introduction to 3D printing!


Using the Bambu Lab or Prusa 3D-printers at out workshop—or even your own—you’ll learn:
  • How to Get Started with 3D Printing: Understand how 3D printers work.
  • Downloading and Printing Online Models: Discover where to find models and how to print them.
  • Troubleshooting Common Print Failures: Learn how to fix common issues.
  • Creating Custom Models in TinkerCad: Design your own projects.

This workshop is limited to a maximum of four learners for personalized attention. The session will last two hours, with an additional hour for Q&A or finishing prints if needed.


Age Policy: Participants under 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian. If attending to supervise only, rather than participate, then an additional ticket is not necessary.d.
