Hey Backers!

Heads up: we've made the decision to remove backer links from the Jest homepage. While we want to recognize everyone who contributes to Jest and makes continued development of Jest possible, unfortunately the overwhelming majority of new contributors are from SEO farms using the Jest homepage links to juice SEO rankings.

Even though these links are nofollow and should have no impact on SEO, we still get multiple emails a week from new backers asking us to update the links on the homepage. We've tried multiple other strategies to combat this, but none have worked and the only option left is to remove the links.

We will be keeping a curated list of Featured Sponsors on the homepage for companies who we want to recognize for their outsized support. This list is manually reviewed by the team, and we will not accept any requests to be added to this list, or include any backer who we believe is using the link for SEO purposes.
