LeakLens is live — open registry, breach checker & CVE tracking
Published on August 4, 2026 by LeakLens.org

LeakLens is now live: an independent, open-source public registry that helps people check whether their personal data has appeared in known data breaches. What's working today:
  • Privacy-preserving breach lookup (email/phone) via k-anonymity — we never see or store what you search for
  • Aggregated data from established open sources (HaveIBeenPwned, XposedOrNot)
  • A public Leak Registry with documented, verified breach incidents
  • A CVE Registry cross-referencing vulnerabilities relevant to catalogued breaches
  • An early-detection system that flags newly reported incidents from public disclosure channels before they're formally verified and added to the registry
What's next:
  • Public API for researchers and other tools
  • Expanded source coverage
  • Timeline view for tracking breach disclosure patterns over time
The project is fully open source, collects no user data, and is run independently with no commercial backing. If LeakLens is useful to you, consider supporting its infrastructure and continued development.
