The types of items we will be able to loan out is virtually unlimited and lead by what the public actually want. The things should be useful, to an individual, for around a week at a time, once or twice a year, so the most people can get benefit from them.
Some examples:
- DIY tools: an electric drill or a large spirit level.
- Gardening tools: a hedge cutter or strimmer.
- Household items: an inflatable mattress for visitors.
- Entertainment: a games console or a board game.
- Musical instruments: an acoustic guitar or a synthesiser.
- Events and parties: a gazebo or folding chairs.
We will also maintain a DIY materials store, that might include offcuts of plywood or tins of paint.
Remember that most DIY tools are available to use inside our workshop, with free access on Wednesday evening, 6:30-8:30. LAMM members have up to 24 hour access.
