Logseq Native Android Testing Starts! šŸ¤–šŸš€
Published on November 4, 2026 by Tienson Qin

Dear Logseq Backers,
Ā
When we announced native iOS testing, we promised Android was coming soon. Today, we're excited to open signups for our Open Collective backers to test the new native Android app!
Ā
Signups are open now. Android testing will begin next week (the week of November 9).
Ā
We've been rebuilding the mobile experience with a focus on speed, reliability, and a truly native feel. Now it's your turn to help shape Logseq on Android.
Ā
What's the focus?
Ā
⚔ Fast startup and quick capture
Make it easier to open Logseq and capture a thought whenever inspiration strikes.
Ā
šŸ¤– A native Android experience
An interface built with Jetpack Compose, designed to feel at home on your Android device.
Ā
šŸ’¾ Reliable local storage
A stronger foundation for keeping your notes and assets on your device.
Ā
šŸš€ Smooth everyday use
A more responsive experience for browsing, writing, and working with your notes.
Ā
Help us test!
Ā
Ā
Please provide your Google Play email account and Logseq email account in the form so we can arrange testing access.
Ā
This will be an early testing release, so expect bugs and unfinished features. Please back up your notes before testing. We'd love your feedback on performance, device compatibility, and anything that gets in your way.
Ā
Thank you ā¤ļø
Ā
Your continued support makes this work possible. We're grateful to have you helping us build a better Logseq across platforms.
Ā
We can't wait to hear what you think!

Looks great but how do I make sure no data is lost? Is there a tool for thos on Amdroid? Hourly backupsĀ  on desktop are more or less automatic. I do hourly backups on Desktop anyway separate from Logseq. But not Android. If someone can answer this I'd greatly appreciate it as Im keen to participate in testing but need a better way to safeguard against data loss.
