2024 is a big year for us. The feature film Marimari is finally finished and premiering on the big screen in August. One of the hardest things to get funding for is international travel - and it just isn't right to us to show the film without its co-creator Evelyn here.
So in April we took a break from figuring out how we're going to raise $80,000 NZD and ran a crowdfunding campaign to get Evelyn here.
With 10 days to go we are overwhelmed with the support the campaign has had, and we're quietly confident it will be a success. Crowdfunding isn't easy and we've done a digital bakesale to really grease the wheels.
