Hotels during Polar Vortex

As temperatures drop to –20° in Minneapolis, resident Jojo Miller and others are organizing to get people into hotels for the crucial coldest week of the year. Nine rooms with double beds (grouping people who are in COVID-19 pods already) have been identified for about $52 per night per room, or $366 for seven days, plus a $100 deposit per room = $4,194. Extra or refunded money will stay dedicated to hotel or equivalent shelter for camp residents and other houseless people.
