Year end update

Accomplishments for 2023:
- Transferred fiscal sponsorship to OCF.
- Restarted monthly in-person meetings.
- Supported monthly meetings with purchase of a new projector.
- Reaffirmed our relationship with Oakland’s Public Ethics Commission.
- Started a new model for projects, keeping project cycles shorter.
- Trying new volunteer models, asking for project commitment.
- Applied for large scale community meeting.
- Welcomed new volunteers!
Challenges:
- The brigade network, including OpenOakland, separated from Code for America.
- Low participation levels after COVID shutdown
Outlook for 2024:
- Further rebuilding and getting up to speed after the pandemic.
- New projects including supporting the Democracy Dollars roll out from the Oakland PEC.
