OpenOSINT started as a single CLI command. It's now an AI agent for OSINT with four interfaces — interactive REPL, CLI, MCP server, and a Web UI — running on around 600 GitHub stars and thousands of installs a month.
That growth has a cost. The project now runs real infrastructure: hosting for the Web UI and MCP server, API usage, and the time to keep releases, integrations, and dependencies current.
OpenOSINT is and stays free, MIT-licensed, with no closed APIs. This Collective exists so that staying free doesn't mean staying unmaintained. Every contribution is public and goes to one place — keeping the project usable and independent.
The first goal is simple: cover the monthly infrastructure that keeps OpenOSINT online. If the project saves you time, backing it at any tier helps keep it that way.
Thanks to everyone already using, starring, and contributing. The intelligence picture comes together because of you.
