Thanks to your generous support, we've been able to cover key expenses for Owncast. From creating our explainer video, the legal fees behind registering the trademark for our project name, getting the new merch store up and running, to keeping the lights on with all these years of hosting and development tools we use.

I'm incredibly grateful for the support that's gotten us to this point, and I thought it was time to pass that gratification on.

While we’re far from rolling in funds, I believe we’re in a position to give back, even just a couple of dollars a month, to some of the opensource projects that Owncast takes advantage of. We won’t be able to support everyone, but it feels like the right time to begin paying it forward.

I'm providing this update for transparency, so you know what we're up to, and in hopes that you continue to trust us to put your contribution to good use.
