Dear supporters & community of Resilient Uprising

We want to celebrate a big achievement with you: The first face to face workshop organized by Resilient Uprising took place in the beginning of January 2026.

On a small farm next to Amsterdam, surrounded by sheep, and a flat green landscape shaped by agriculture, 29 people from 11 countries came together to learn and connect.

The leadership training was held by the Integration Station collective under the topic Introduction to Collaborative Leadership. What was that about?

Well as you know Resilient Uprising wants to build the foundations of a vast, deeply rooted network of leaders and mentors who act with courage, groundedness, faith, and love in these times when authoritarian forces are gathering momentum. Our mission is to cultivate a deeply connected and resilient leadership culture in our organizations that nourishes both the inner and outer life of organizers.

Integration Station gave us tools to set up organizational practices and structures that enable us to work based on peoples needs and to gain speed in our work through that.
There were many aha moments among participants, seeing that there is a way to collaborate that isn't just about being smart and hurrying through agenda points, but that collaborative leadership is about being deeply connected, building trust in each other and oneself. Through that we don’t just have more meaningful relationships but can also speed up our organizational work.

Let’s hear some voices from the participants to get you a better idea of the experience:

"The Resilient Uprising Training has made a lasting impact, on my activism and my personal life. Even though I had been taking nonviolent civil disobedient action for over five years, this training has taught me much about nonviolence that I didn't yet know. I feel decidedly different about myself, my interactions with others and what I want to do in the world. I am very grateful for having been given the opportunity to attend. I has taken my understanding of nonviolence to a whole new level."

Juno, Extinction Rebellion Netherlands

The collaborative leadership retreat opened my eyes to completely new ways of thinking about non-violence and leadership. I take with myself a plethora of new ideas for my day to day work and a feeling of actually being able to start leading and guiding people.

And even better: The Collaborative Leadership Training is not yet over! We did all return home in Mid January. However there are another 6 follow-up sessions until mid April to support us in deepening our newly learned knowledge, overcome challenges together and share these new insights within our organisations.

Thank you so much from all of us for your contribution to make this learning experience happen.

Other exciting news are, that we are already working on our next projects: A second dive into Collaborative Leadership with Integration Station is planned for this summer to deepen our knowledge. And in autumn we will start with a new workshop program about: Introduction to Strategic Leadership.

We keep you updated what we are up to. Let’s keep growing together,

Resilient Uprising
