We successfully filed as a Nonprofit Corporation with the State!

This past Sunday we met as a board for the first time and approved our Bylaws! Then on Monday I began the process of filing with the state as a Nonprofit corporation! On Tuesday around 11a, we got an email containing our certificate!
The next step for us is filing with the IRS as a 501(c)(3). Then we can create more Direct Aid programs! Stay tuned!
