In July 2023, we considered how we could serve the houseless people on Kampala and Entebbe road junction, many of them children. We have been advised that giving them money is almost always unhelpful in the long run but we are not sure how else to help. So as we continued to pray and do some reasearch on this complex issue, we committed to giving a pack of food to one of them every week usually after our Saturday gathering.
These funds will go towards paying for that food every week and any other future initiatives for caring for the houseless in our community. Matthew 25:34-40, James 2:15-16.
