The Community Nest
The Community Nest supports unincorporated groups and networks to overcome the barriers they face by ensuring the learning tools, resources and skills needed to make social change happen are within reach. Alongside hosting workshops, webinars, regional and national convenings, facilitated action learning sets, 1:1 surgeries and online learning resources, we also nurture space for changemakers to share their own expertise with one another through facilitated knowledge exchange and sharing.

We’re inviting applications for the Community Nest’s Advisory Collective, a group of 6-8 grassroots leaders who will bring their expertise, insight and lived experience to shape how The Community Nest works.

The Advisory Collective
We’re inviting applications for the Community Nest’s Advisory Collective, a group of 6-8 grassroots leaders who will bring their expertise, insight and lived experience to shape how The Community Nest works.
We’re looking for: people with lived experience of economic, environmental or social injustice, particularly from communities we work alongside. At least 60% of places are reserved for leaders from our fiscally hosted groups.
What’s involved:
- four 2.5 hour meetings a year (one in-person)
- £350/day honorarium for preparation and attendance, paid through Open Collective.
Support is available for interpreters, carers, childcare and other access costs, and to help protect benefits entitlement.
