On Friday 25th September 2026, Zu from Films for Change organised an external fundraiser hosting a unique House Fly performance by Tess O'Shea in a small village Hall in Berkshire UK. A remarkably creative, informative and hugely entertaining comedy, written and performed by Tess who donated all profits to our initiative. We had full house and a bar and raised an amazing £750 (Euro 870 ) for The Rain Starts with Us programme. We are so grateful to all who came to share the 'fly-tastic' joy, the show not only builds sympathy for the down trodden House Fly, but reminds us of the important roles insects all play in our lives. With our programme being in support of conservation biodiversity in Uganda, Tess even sourced an incredible image of a huge hairy Ugandan robber fly eating a wasp which she shared in her Q&A. Everyone loved it. What a fabulous evening was had by all!
