Here's the latest from the TRM front:

1. The App

The Episdemos App is now available for download on both The Apple App Store and Google Play

A big thank you to all who have participated in the Beta sprints this summer.  We couldn't have done it without you.

Note: In order to use the App at this point, you will need to apply for a Swarm Token.  You can do that from the app itself (there is a link at the login page).

2. The Podcast

We are happy to announce that the TRM podcast is now part of The Democracy Group network! For more, please go here.

Newly published episodes of The TRM Podcast:
We sit down with philosopher Robert Talisse, W. Alton Jones Professor of Philosophy at Vanderbilt University, to explore the ideas behind his recently published book, Civic Solitude: Why Democracy Needs Distance. Talisse argues that while democracy thrives on public participation, it also requires something quieter — moments of reflection and distance from the noise. We talk about polarization, the hidden costs of constant engagement, and why institutions like libraries and museums might be just as essential to democracy as voting booths. This conversation is about rethinking what it really means to be a citizen in today’s fractured political landscape.

Note that The TRM podcast is available on all the major platforms, including Spotify, Apple, Castbox, Rephonic, and Amazon.

3. Writings

  • The best way to introduce people to TRM is via this TRM Deep Dive episode.  You can also point them to www.jointrm.com
  • Download the Episdemos App and try it out.
  • Help us spread the word. And if you are on social media, please follow us via: X/Twitter and Facebook.
  • Make a financial contribution. Please do note that TRM is a 501(c)(4) and therefore donations are NOT tax-deductible. It also means that TRM does NOT need to (and it does not plan to) publicly disclose its donors (unless the donor is a PAC).
