I am writing to share some exciting news that your support has helped make a reality: we are building a shiny new, dedicated app for toot.wales.

Developed in partnership with the Newsmast Foundation, our app is designed to be a simple, straightforward entry point to the Social Web - joining 50 million people already enjoying #BetterSocial.

With the current state of mainstream platforms, there has never been a more vital time to champion digital sovereignty and offer a truly viable, people-first alternative. Your contributions have been essential in allowing us to build this space and keep it community-owned.

We are planning a launch event in Cardiff on Feb 28th to celebrate #BetterSocial and show you what we’ve been working on - I would love to see you there! We are bringing together a mix of media, supporters, Tŵt members, and the wider Social Web community to mark the occasion.

You can learn more about the philosophy behind the new app in our latest blog post: https://croeso.toot.wales/en/less-clutter-more-cwtch/

We are still finalising the venue and exact timings, but we would love to know if you can join us. You can RSVP here: https://forms.gle/qbaQ9QEjGiGJMQ8z6

Thank you for your continued belief in Tŵt and for investing in a better social future for Wales. I look forward to hopefully seeing you in Cardiff.

Cofion cynnes,

Jaz
