Abolitionist Healing Collective

The Abolitionist Healing Collective are a group of people in Bristol brought together by our longing for an anti-oppressive, abolitionist system of care. We span various intersections of social positions, such as Black, people of colour, queer, Muslim, and we all have experiences of distress and trauma. We wanted to use our experiences of living under violent power structures and the Western mental health system to spark conversations about how abolition can help us better understand and hold our distress in a way that allows for healing beyond survival.
