We exist because the world needs people and communities that build solutions, not just individuals who point out problems.

You know that feeling when you look around and see what needs changing, but wonder if you're the only one who cares? You're not. And you have more power than you think.

Inspired by Jon Alexander's insight that "all of us are better than any of us," we reject the idea that you're either a passive subject or an isolated consumer. What you are instead is an active citizen capable of creating meaningful change.

ACTionism is creative and demonstrative - we need the builders, storytellers, and creators to construct a new system and, in turn, a more joyful and regenerative world.

We inspire people with stories of individuals and initiatives that demonstrate how collective action can create real change, whilst providing practical guidance on turning inspiration into action.

Our approach centres on storytelling as the catalyst for transformation, creating a self-reinforcing cycle of inspiration, collective action, and reflection. When we ask "What can we do that we couldn't do on our own?" we rediscover the power and joy of collective agency.
