Hi all,

I just applied to be under the nonprofit umbrella of Open Source Collective. This will allow us to raise funds and for developers to submit invoices while providing transparency into our finances and a whole host of other features (like sponsors!).

A lot of us have jobs and don't need the money. I think the main benefit is that we will be able to offer a summer program for actuarial students.

I really hope our proposal goes through!
