Summer 2022 Joy Grants

Dear Generous Donors to the Alexander Fishman Childhood Joy Fund,
We hope you are enjoying the summer season, and want to take this time to update you on our Summer 2022 JOY GRANTS. This summer, your donations have granted 5 children the opportunity to attend summer camp for a total of 22 weeks. Thanks to you, our grantees are attending a variety of camps in Brooklyn exploring interests related to science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics, and even acrobatics!
In these challenging and uncertain times, you have given the greatest gift to our JOY GRANT recipients: a safe and enriching experience in which they could not otherwise participate. Our grantees are not only having fun physically and academically, but also building confidence, resilience, and grit by making new friends, trying new things, and forging positive relationships with mentors. The impacts of this experience will truly last a lifetime.
We can't thank you enough for supporting this mission that is so dear to our hearts and lifts up our North Brooklyn community!
