Teacher, visual artist, and new media project consultant, researching artistic and design practices that make use of computational means, promoting creative coding and programming education in visual contexts. Alexandre graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from FAU-USP (2000) and holds a master's and doctoral degree from FECFAU-Unicamp (2019 and 2025). He was a co-organizer of Noite de Processing, a monthly meeting on art and programming (2016 to 2024). He teaches courses at undergraduate and graduate levels in various institutions and works as a technology‑and‑arts educator at Sesc-SP. He develops open educational materials, collaborates with free software projects, and since 2018 has been trying to produce a drawing using programming every day.
