About
This container is managed by the A4C Board and includes:
- The 15% monthly Treasury Cap of the A4C Operating Budget
- Funds reclaimed through the "Reclaim Donations Mechanism" and from the the "Inactive Collectives Mechanism."
Treasury funds can be used if the balance exceeds EURO 15,000.
Rules for the A4C Treasury
Scope of Use The treasury can only be used for:
- Emergency expenses for A4C, such as legal costs, fines, or other financial emergencies.
- Extraordinary initiatives that directly benefit A4C, after a proposal is presented and approved (e.g. team retreat, COP participation, or revision of the statutes).
Agreement and governance
- Treasury fund requests are shared with A4C Board Members in the #🇪🇺fiscal-host channel on Discord.
- Board members have seven days to review and respond.
- Unanimous agreement is not required, but no board member must veto the request.
