A tremendous thanks for the overwhelming initial response to our Open Collective 🤗. We're excited to share our next steps with you—though this message isn't the full update, which is coming soon.

TL;DR: Expect a detailed update shortly. 

We hope that everyone has found their way to reading our story in the About section on our Open Collective page. And we listed a broad outline of our goals at https://amplifyingfsharp.io/donate/ as well. This at the very least gives you some insight into the grand plan. 

We are currently deciding our next moves and will probably try a few things to attract more business support. Our gut feeling is that businesses do not know Amplifying F# that well. So far, we have gained the support of individuals and not enterprises. 

We're committed to using our funds actively to further our mission—no hoarding here! If you ever feel we're not sticking to this promise, please don't hesitate to reach out at [email protected]. Your honest dialogue is incredibly valuable to us. 

We've currently raised about $4576 (around £3594). When we hit £5000, Edgar has promised to dye his hair blue, showing our gratitude in a colorful way! Thanks to our monthly donors, we're confident we'll reach this milestone. Let's make it happen sooner rather than later—life's too short for waiting 😅.
