About
The ANANSI REVOLUTIONARY CONSCENDO is a day long, interactive art experience designed to push the bounds of the hybrid art event through explorations of musical tele-production and tele-performance. During the Conscendo, attendees will exist together in physical and virtual space simultaneously—occupying physically disparate “zones” while joined together virtually.
Goals
- Produce an event with distribution as its central tenet
- Produce the Conscendo as a future-facing experimental prototype
- Investigate the boundaries of musical collaboration in hybrid space
- Produce a performance in which artists play a live, synchronous set with each other from physically disparate locations
- Impart new technical and musical skills to participants
