Donate here to fund microgrants for 23 students in 2023! Microgrants of up to £200 (or equivalent in other currencies) go directly to animal behaviour students in financial need around the world. We currently have far more applications than contributions so this fundraiser aims to boost our balance and guarantee microgrant funding for 23 students this year.

(As you probably know by now!) we are the Animal Behaviour Collective - a collective of animal behaviour researchers organising microgrants (from £5 to £200) and mentorship for undergraduate and graduate students in animal behaviour sciences around the world. Since opening our microgrants applications in 2020, we have distributed over £14.5K from our monthly contributors to animal behaviour students who need it!

However, the current cost of living due to inflation worldwide has led to decreased contributions and increased need, and consequently, many students still need financial aid.

To work around this difficulty, we're running a fundraiser in April & May aiming to fund 23 microgrants for the year 2023 by raising £4600 in one month – 23 FOR 2023! All the funds collected will help students cover personal expenses while they work toward their degrees.
