About
Apatride Network was formed in August of 2020, as a coalition of stateless individuals, communities and other stateless-led organizations working on addressing statelessness in the EU. Much of our work focuses on raising awareness on statelessness through publications and lectures, advocacy, connecting stateless people to legal aid, community building, and serving to bridge the divide between different relevant actors in statelessness (academics, NGOs, state-actors, UN agencies, et cetera).
Along with our members, we are also associated with European Network on Statelessness, Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion, and serve on UNHCR’s Advisory Committee of Organisations led by forcibly displaced and stateless. On top of our regional work in the EU, we also work on local and global statelessness projects.
