About
Ayris Beauty Machine is a participatory cultural-curation platform for European underground heritage. Members tag artifacts across eighteen territories of inheritance: mythology, philosophy, sacred-text canon, gothic and decadent art, classical literature, underground music, regional folk traditions, and ten others. The taxonomy spans eighteen-hundred categories authored over a fifteen-year practice by Belgian creative director Tristithea De Ellendeh.
The platform answers questions of the form decade × medium × movement × mythology that no current cultural infrastructure supports. A reader narrowing the taxonomy to 1820s × Painting × Romanticism finds Goya's Saturn Devouring His Son.
A working nine-level community-governance mechanic gates contributions, including public-logged veto and participatory court petitions.
