Aaaand we're back!
Published on June 1, 2022 by Kit Ryan

Hey there, friends!

BarCamp Omaha is back! After taking a hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, we’re bringing the unconference back on Saturday, August 20th, at WP Engine in Millwork Commons! Our team is a scrappy group that cares deeply for our community, and we suspect you do, too, so let's lift up the passionate and talented people around here with awesome talks!

BarCamp attracts people from all walks of life. It’s a networking event that draws in budding and seasoned entrepreneurs from some of Nebraska’s most engaged and compelling organizations. It’s a space for community organizers to share the ways they’re working to improve their city. BarCamp brings together new and established designers who are helping solve all kinds of problems. It connects developers and engineers looking to improve their craft with local businesses and companies. BarCamp is a stage for the underdogs to step up and be seen. These are the folks who make BarCamp so special.

So, tell all your friends, tell your family, tell your enemies too, why not. BarCamp is back and better than ever!

Tickets are on sale now for $20, and we'll have freebie tickets coming up for underrepresented groups, so keep an ear out. And if you can, be a sponsor and help make this event happen!

Thanks, everyone, and we hope to see you in August!
