our wish is that bim bom is an affordable, dependable place for artists to create. we want to support you as best as we can in the tender, messy phases of your process that often go underfunded / self funded / or not funded at all.

bim bom sound is an affordable fixed rate recording studio engineered by Michael Macdonald.

from co-writing to simply recording and mixing, Michael can work with you in a broad spectrum of ways. he got his start making music with experimental pop band, Oshwa and has since honed his musicianship and engineering on works by artists such as Tasha, Tenci, Claude, The Curls, The Slaps, Burr Oak, Ester, and many more. his work has appeared on NPR Music, VICE, The FADER, Pitchfork, Stereogum and Consequence of Sound. for more information and work samples, click here.
