Despite appearances to the contrary, this project is still alive and aiming to be much more active again.
We thank everyone for their patience over the last 18 months, especially those who continue to make regular contributions and also those who have made any contribution of any amount! In May 2024 an incognito contributor sent €400, which is the single largest amount for last year.
We've accumulate around €945 in funds, which today have been put to good use with a new order placed for tactical medical supplies. In fact, we've overspent, so the contributions are still highly appreciated and obviously needed. We've bought haemostatic gauze, normal z-fold gauze, splints, nasopharyngeal tubes, burn gel, burn dressings, chest seals, trauma bandages and some pulse oximeters. Once the ordered items arrive they will be photographed, the invoice uploaded on the Open Collective platform and all items sent to Solidarity Collectives in Ukraine.
We've also accumulated some other supplies over the last year, which will be added to the newly purchased items in a single delivery. This includes emergency hypothermia blankets, trauma shears and IFAK pouches.
On a somber note, in our last update some time ago we highlighted the direct assistance provided to a relative of a collective member. We sent, amongst other things, camping gas bottles for cooking in a trench. Unfortunately, this solider was badly wounded by a drone dropped grenade. He survived and is still recovering from his injuries, far from the front line. His comrade was not so fortunate and sadly died in the same action.
Thank you again to all contributors. We hope to accelerate the pace of aid delivery in the coming months and kindly ask you to also consider continuing to support our work. If you don't already know, we also have a Mastodon social media account, where we post general, and hopefully relevant, medical news updates with the focus on Ukraine, Rojava and other conflict zones were anyone is fighting tyranny, repression, colonialism, ecological destruction and corporate capitalism.
Good to hear! Hope to draw other people to the cause. Not so simple as some of our fellow anarchists prize peace over other people's survival, an easy price to pay if it's with other people's lives! I prefer peace but tyranny is not a life!

Thank you for the ongoing support and regular contributions during the long silence.
