IPFS private networking and its reality
Published on October 23, 2020 by Stephen Traiforos

Good morning world!

I had just updated our partner organization's open collective page; Traiforce Group LLC. As a entrepreneurial spirit I have been working on the software, business model and everything else in between to ensure our product line is as secure if not more than the modern web 2.0 equivalent. The truth of the matter is IPFS is an alpha tool, that has much potential and much it can do today securely on its own. That being said some attack vectors are still not where they need to be on the public network much like the modern internet of things. Some of the secure swarm technology is being put to the test and is in use in the market. That being said it is still proprietary to many organizations leaving us to redevelop many aspects to ensure our code-base and product is secured to the industry standard and even define new security models over time due to the lack of security in cloud and local platforms and tools. We will be refocusing on securing the publically accessible network first, leaving Blobchain tools next on the list. Expect more updates but much less since we will be focusing on the public network and providing a content delivery network to ensure we can tackle public content sharing in our own platforms tool set securely.

Blobchain is the entity that will be created for private IPFS networks for individuals and make clear this network is secure and can move with the internet of things as it matures. My colleagues and I are excited to provide a secure network based storage mechanism common users can trust and rely on. Expect some slow down on this product and company as we refocus on IPFS CDN product company but the tools will be created through our partner company free to use and published for the world to see!

Yours in secure file storage,

Stephen Traiforos
