About
Following our packed screening of Seed: The Untold Story loads of people stayed after the film to discuss setting up a Bridport Seed Library.
Steve, a member of West Dorset Commons and co-ordinator of the Bridport Community Allotment (next to Bridport Community Orchard), shared ideas for our new Seed Library initiative and talked about how the Seed Library could work.
A bunch of people signed-up to help make it happen and we now have nearly a hundred different seed varieties, ready for our grand opening at Bridport Library on Saturday 7 February 2026 during Bridport Seed Week.
Whether you’re a gardener, seed saver, food-growing enthusiast or simply curious, email Steve at [email protected] for more info and to get involved with this project to strengthen local biodiversity and community resilience.
