Where are you in the Ecosystem? Who are you to the Ecosystem?

A central metaphor for the Black Seed Network is contemplating Social Movements as Ecosystems, rather than Social Movements as Machines. As a Black population, we may not be one giant community, but we are many many different and interconnected communities who live within, benefit from, and tend to a Movement Ecosystem that nurtures organizers and campaigns that get us free.

So where are you in the Ecosystem? Do your efforts focus on a specific space, like a neighborhood? And/or do you focus on a specific social sector, like housing or prison abolition?

Who are you to our Movement Ecosystem? How do you focus on showing up for the community?
