This week The Grub Hub served 40ish people, including some returning faces which was nice to see!

Another busy week for the various crews of volunteers, including frantic behind the scenes activity trying to bake the perfect gluten free loaf only to be defeated at the last minute by the tiniest of ingredients hiding in the yeast!

Menu this week was was sweet potato and coconut soup, with bread donated by Blue Sky Bakery and Weighsted. Main was 3 bean chilli, grain salad, hummus, tortillas and sour cream. Both courses were available as gluten free.

Donated funds have been spent  mostly on interim food until FareShare are online with us, and various other set up costs like door clickers, aprons, order books etc.
