We are tremendously grateful to all who have contributed to the Cathall Mutual Aid Open Collective fund so far. As a result of donations and reimbursement through this platform, we have been able to get food and other essential goods to at least 50 individuals. We are currently working to set up some longer term assistance for a few people who need it. Of note, the neighbourhood has grown perceptively stronger in the last few weeks, with Mutual Aid members getting to know each other and their neighbours. Although the circumstances that led to this development are sadly grave, we are heartened by this newfound sense of community and look forward to celebrating in person when the situation allows it.
