Mid Year Update

We are so pleased to be able to share some important updates about ChiResists and our work.
In the first half of 2022 we were finally able to secure a fiscal sponsor with this Open Collective account and the response has been so amazing! Thank you to everyone who donated so far. The ability to collect donations to cover operational and mutual aid costs is a relief to our core organizers and the ongoing programs.
Your donations are supporting the Pilsen Love Fridge, Radical Study Hall, The Decolonial Open Mic, Healing in the Park, local gardens, artists, organizers and our upcoming programming for summer 2022!
We recently just hosted our first Healing in the Park of 2022 in Humboldt Park and it was absolutely beautiful. Please follow us on instagram @chiresists to see our recaps and upcoming events.
In addition, we are excited to share that we just were recipients of a small seed grant from the Crossroads fund! We are super excited and inspired to make magic with the funds!
The ability to not only fund the project costs but also support the community of organizers that have kept this work active for the past 6 years is critical to the longevity of this movement. Please consider becoming a sustaining monthly donor to expand this work and support the foundation of a cultural hub and physical space. If you can help us fundraise with your connections we can make this happen much sooner.
