avails

Group scheduling on the AT Protocol — your polls live in your Bluesky account, not a centralized database. Open-source LettuceMeet alternative.

About

Most scheduling tools store your data on their servers. If the company shuts down, pivots, or gets acquired — your polls disappear with it. Avails is different: your scheduling polls are stored as records in your own Bluesky account, on the open AT Protocol.

One of the first real-world demonstrations that everyday civic tools can run on decentralized protocols — proving that data ownership and good UX aren't mutually exclusive.

  • Drag-to-paint availability grid — click and drag to mark when you're free
  • No account to respond — participants just open the link and paint
  • Calendar invites — when a time is picked, everyone gets an .ics invite
  • Google Calendar overlay — see busy times before marking availability
  • Community-scoped — polls appear in My Community and Dear Neighbors dashboards
  • Timezone support — grid auto-converts to each viewer's local timezone
