Fridays for Future zambia with support from Fridays for Future global, Fridays for future MAPA
(Most Affected People and Areas), and other youth organisaton networks seeks to engage the
public on the effects being faced due to the climate breakdown.
The event will also feature a physical strike in major cities such as lusaka, kanyama as well as
other counties. We wish to engage schools in rural areas where students who are affected by
climate change will also take part. We will also hold climate awareness workshops in our
local communities to educate them on the climate crisis and look into ways of engaging
our country leaders into mitigating climate damage.  we will strive to bring to light the crisis of plastic pollution in our country
and how climate crisis is affectin us
Desirable outcomes
● Where zambia is a focal point of the climate strike held on March 25th.
● Involve the youth in climate strike
● Highlight the work of activists and environmentalists in my country, who are usually over
looked by the media
● Create awareness about the issues being faced by young Africans in the climate crisis
● Create networks between activists and environmentalists and work together toward
pressuring global countries to reduce their carbon emissions
● Engage with other Friday for Future branches to spread our mission and projects
