To be completely transparent, things have been really hard since lockdown-era Unemployment stopped. During the colder months our numbers dwindled and capacities were often exceeded. That being said, we have been able to do some serious resource distribution with the help of your donations! We supply our community with fresh produce, dry goods, PPE, diapers, period products, and hygiene necessities to hundreds of people twice a week every week, rain or shine.
The continuation of this important work requires funds, more funds than we have right now with our balance being only $79.83. To put that into perspective, a run to BJs for food distributed to houseless neighbors and distro supplies like garbage bags costs, on average, $600. Our budget balance being only a fraction of that, we need more funds (urgently) in order to make a BJs run and do houseless distro this week and in following weeks.
