Anas is a 23-year-old engineer. His family of 8 lost everything, including the new house they had only lived in for a week, in October 2023. Anas is supporting extended family, including his parents and little brother.

Anas says:
My name is Anas Ibrahim. I am 23 years old. I graduated from the College of Engineering before the war and entered the workforce. I have only worked for a month and my dream is to work for a longer period of time and share my work with my father, the engineer, had not been able to reduce his workload. We are a family of 8, three girls and five boys.
We bought our new house, which we wanted for years, and we bought all new furniture, which cost us a very large amount of money just a few days before the war, we lived there for a week, and then the war broke out and we were displaced about five times, miraculously escaping death each time.
Now my family and I live in a tent in the south of the Gaza Strip, threatened by poverty, hunger and fear of the unknown.
