How to be in authentic connection with one's self, one's practice, one's relations, the natural world and with the present moment in the context of a pressing neoliberal reality? 

Collectief Z o m e r e n – currently an assemblage of six women* – sprung from a need for more commonality in our professional practices and lives, exploring how to practice the I in the We and the I as the We. Each of us has their own art and or design practice grown from a fashion background, and engages with the field of education. Collectief Z o m e r e n organizes itself as a Union for In-Between Space, acknowledging and bridging the situations where life becomes work and work becomes life. We create(d) and facilitate(d) interactions, programmes and workshops in the cultural sector.
