ImaginAction for Sacred Territory

THIS CYCLE OF WORKSHOPS IS SET TO SUPPORT SACRED TERRITORY PERFORMANCES
 

Sacred Territory emerges from RECONECTANDO, an eco-psychosocial project that has offered truth and reconciliation Laboratories in the womb of Mother Earth to accompany the work of the Truth Commission. We have worked with ex-combatants and people victimized by all groups, as well as social and environmental leaders.

Through this process we have invited six women from different areas of the country, who were affected in different ways by the conflict, to explore how the war has marked their lives and that of their territories. With the help of deep ecology, theater and healing rituals, we have raised awareness of what has allowed them to transmute their pain and turn it into the transformative energy that feeds their profound leadership.

Right now we are finishing the mise-en-scene of the play to share the process with other people. After some presentations we will record the play in order to develop the third stage of Theater for Reconciliation in which we will take the play to various places in order to create spaces for social dialogue and regenerative actions with nature.
