About
Asdaa Medical point in Khan Younis, near Asdaa Compound. Is a makeshift tent that provides basic medical and oral care to patients, mothers, and children in Khan Younis.

Tent Location:
- English – North Asdaa, at the beginning of Asdaa Compound, near the Hamad Crossing with Asdaa Compound (locally it’s called Asdaa City)

Project Goals:
- Providing free medical consultations, medicines, diapers, milk and sanitary pads for women in the displacement camp.
- Ensure that everyone gets the medical care they need, and guide women on how to deal with infectious skin diseases under the difficult conditions they live in the displacement camp.
The medical tent is within close proximity of a large congregation of tent camps, with a population of 800 thousand people from Asdaa area and Hamad City and are providing daily care for 150 to 250 people per day. The group set up the tent despite the difficulty and cost of the medical point in the current situation and the difficulty of assembling special equipment and medicines at the point.
Project Team:
- Dr. Ahmed Khader from North Gaza, volunteered for more than eight months in the emergency department in the northern and southern hospitals during the Gaza crisis, and worked as a volunteer in previous medical points.
- Nurse Hussam Abu Rabie, volunteered for nine months between the Indonesian Hospital and the emergency department at Al-Aqsa Hospital at the same time during the Gaza crisis.
- Mahmoud Al-Namnam, volunteer logistics and purchases officer.
- Dr. Othman Nassar, worked in Yousef Al-Najjar Hospital and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
- Pharmacist Fayez Sahweil, has been working as a volunteer in the north at Beit Hanoun Hospital since the beginning of the war, and is currently volunteering at the medical point
- Hussam Abu Rabie, has been working as a volunteer at the Indonesian Hospital since the beginning of the war and is also volunteering at Asdaa Medical Point.
