About
OVERVIEW
Our purpose, as a hopeful new section of the Claudia Jones School for Political Education, is to have an intimate way to interact with the community. We have the Saturday School, an amazing base to work off of with this Book Club. Having another avenue to reach people is an important addition to the work done in the School with its already formulated panels and classes.
GOALS
- To cultivate a strong & trusting relationship with the community
- Build an open forum to raise class & political consciousness
- Read important works; from theory, to history, to relevant fiction, to poetry
